Getting Started
Welcome family, friends, and random readers! I started this blog for two reasons...
1. To think through and process all of life and its adventures
2. To share these adventures with you
I'm looking forward to this new world of blogging and I hope it helps someone along the way.
Jason and I are one day away from leaving for Kenya, Africa! Right now we are busy with final preparations and visiting with family. I'm hoping to use this blog to keep everyone updated on events and prayers requests while we are in Kenya for the next three weeks, and to then continue it upon our return. We are very excited about this trip, but could use your prayers even now as we prepare to go. Please pray that I will relax and enjoy this time. I've found out within the past couple of weeks that I will be teaching Kenyan ICU nurses while at one of the mission hospitals. This will be very stretching for me as I feel like my time and knowledge are inadequate to prepare the way I would like. Jason says that he can use prayer for good decision making, and for dealing with me and my intermittent "stress out" moments I might add. :)
Thank you to all of those who have expressed interest in our life and the things God is doing. Thank you also for your prayers; they are needed and appreciated more than you know!
Love in Christ,
Meridith
