Guest Post: Day 2 of 'Nathaniel's Blog' (by Judy Norman)

When I'm thinking about something, I get quiet and stare.  Well, Iya said bathing in sink would be fun and quick.  I thought about that last night during my bedtime snack.  Then I told her I would like to try the sink instead of shower.  Baba got the water all warm in the kitchen sink and washed me quick.  It was fun!  And I even fit in the sink. See my picture Iya took.
I'm an outdoors guy.  It seems everyone makes me wait to go outdoors though.  I wait pretty good...most of the time.  After Iya washed the dishes this morning, we went outside to play soccer.  She played goalie on the open front door and I tried to score from the yard.  The porch blocked my shots a lot.  I finally scored one goal through the front door.  That was great!
This morning I went with Nelvus to play at my house.  She picked up Zeke from the Snells.  Zeke and I played with blocks.  I was happy to play with Zeke but we both got so tired.  Not sure when I fell asleep but I woke up in my bed at Iya and Baba's.  I can't remember all we did.  Iya will have to ask Nelvus tomorrow.
Iya said today was red day and we went for a walk to find red things.  I could find red things faster than Iya.  I know my colors!
I'm thinking I like this vacation idea.  I got to watch 3 more Dinosaur Trains this afternoon during the rain.  I helped Iya make peanut butter cookies before that.  We took some cookies and red "bamatoes" to Ma Bardin.  I put on my raincoat and boots.  I like to visit people.
Just a head's up, I'm a guy who likes to ask why.  Be prepared to explain yourself.
Tonight I had the best time running across the room and crashing on the couch.  Sometimes I would go really fast and then I would go really slow.  Iya laughed when I would go slow.  Baba likes to sing.  He sings songs I don't know.  I would sigh and slap my head when he would start a new song.  I even put my face in the couch and sigh really big.  I'm not sure he took the hints.  I changed tactics and started singing to him.  He sang a bit with me and then we stopped.  Whew.
I think I really like the sink bath. Iya washed me in the sink tonight.  Then we read some books.  When I said my prayers, I prayed for the sick at least 4 times and for Jesus to help Mommy and Daddy on their hike.
Iya said, "Love you, buddy" when she kissed me good night   I didn't ask why.  I just smiled and snuggled in the covers with Woody.
