First Picture Blog!

I finally figured out how to post pictures and have the internet speed to do it! :) This past week has been full of activity. We have made several new friends, enjoyed a wonderful dinner out on Valentine's Day, worked a lot on data entry at the hospital, got to see and explore a little more of Nairobi, and have been continuing to learn a lot about ourselves. I'm working on typing up some of things God taught me through time in His Word today, but for now I'll leave you with these pictures and short explanations. Hope you enjoy!

One of our first dinners in our new home away from home!
This is our kitchen / laundry room (see the small washer in the left corner). Our stove / oven is probably the most interesting part, although you can barely see it in the picture. It took us a while to figure out that the oven is electric, while the stove top is gas... :)

Living room / guest room / extended dining room :) My favorite part of the house is this huge window seat - love it!!

The beautiful Calla Lilies Jason bought me... :)

Our bathroom and R.E.I. clothes lines. Saves me from walking down our many flights of stairs and back to hang up laundry outside!

View from our living room window

20 weeks along - the halfway point to meeting our son or daughter!!

Our bedroom

You would think this is a dresser, but it actually holds the hot water heater... :)

We haven't closed the windows since we arrived... absolutely love the weather!

More 20 week belly pictures! Sorry - I promised my family I'd post them so they could watch the baby grow... :)

Valentine's Day! We ate at a really nice restaurant called "About Thyme". The food was absolutely wonderful and the venue was beautiful. The company was also exceptional. :)

Hope to post again soon. Thank you all for your continued prayers! We are doing well overall but are still facing many challenges and daily have so much to process and think through. We would love to hear from you all and hope you are well!
